How do I install Tidown on my device?

Why I can't save in higher audio resolution?

Even this software can save TIDAL music for offline listening, doesn't mean you can do it without particular subscription plan. You must have sufficient subscription plan in order to save at the higher audio resolution.

I have set the audio quality to HI_RES and my TIDAL HiFi subscription is active. Why still I can't save at the highest audio resolution?

Make sure the track or album you want to save has the "M" logo beside of it. The "M" logo stands for TIDAL Masters: an authenticated and unbroken version (typically 96 kHz / 24 bit).

Track skipped while saving, even I have a stable internet connection.

If you're classical music lovers, something like this is most likely happened too frequent. This occurred because some of classical music has a very long title while there is limitation in maximum path and filename length depending which OS did you used. See the comparison table below:

To avoid the track being skipped, change the output directory to the root of your file system.

I can't update Tidown by pip.

First, make sure you are have the latest version of pip and setuptools (learn how to install pip and setuptools in installation section). Then, go to this page and copy .egg file link. Open terminal then type $ easy_install <link to the .egg file>
