Express Boilerplate Project

This is a boilerplate project for creating Express applications. It includes all the necessary files and dependencies to get you started quickly.

The development server will listen on port 3000. You can access the project by visiting http://localhost:3000 in your web browser.

Project Structure

The project is organized into the following directories:

  • migrations: This directory contains the database migrations for the project

    • adapters: This directory contains adapters for the project.
    • config: This directory contains configuration files for the project.
    • controllers: This directory contains the controllers for the project.
    • helpers: This directory contains helper functions for the project.
    • models: This directory contains the models for the project.
    • routes: This directory contains the routes for the project.
    • utils : This directory contains utility functions for the project.
  • app.js: This file contains the main application`
  • knexfile.js: This file contains the configuration for the database
  • package.json: This file contains the project's dependencies.
  • README.md: This file contains information about the project.
  • .eslintrc.js: This file contains the configuration for the ESLint linter
  • .eslintignore: This file contains a list of files and directories that should be ignored by ESLint.
  • .gitignore: This file contains a list of files and directories that should be ignored by Git.

Getting Started

To get started, clone the repository to your local machine:

git clone https://github.com/youxufkhan/express-boilerplate.git

Once the repository is cloned, change directory to the project directory:

Installing Dependencies

Next, install the project dependencies:

npm install

Running the Project

To run the project, start the development server:

npm run start
