GPU: 780M (integrated with AMD 7840U, no external GPU)
X: xf86-video-amdgpu
Screens: laptop + external monitor (60Hz refresh rate)

picom version

Git bisected to 0585e31. Built from source directly with no custom make flags.

Configuration:

picom --config /dev/null --backend glx

Steps of reproduction

Run picom as described above.

Expected behavior

The entire screen goes black except for the cursor.
