A public supported device database. #1359
-
What's your thoughts on having a device support database, that is based on the config package. hosted on GitHub pages or otherwise. Each result could list all the params, metadata for the device, and so on. This could facilitate #1245 allowing end users to discover the proprietary controller functions. As its based on the config package, it should mirror device support pretty accurately. |

Yup I think it could be a handy tool for sure. I will review that thread in more detail now, and ask questions/discuss. |

Have any objections for me to create an org scope private repo for this? https://docs.github.com/en/free-pro-team@latest/developers/apps/authorizing-oauth-apps The idea is that we register the app (in our case the web app), to authenticate users wishing to flag working devices (or anything else we dream up) This lots more ground work, R&D of course, but the foundations are there. I would like to develop some proof of concepts before getting into it too much. |
