Slitaz Linux easy compile Hatari and install it with SDL 1.2 (Asus EEE701 / R2H / etc) for pure (<=650MHz~900MHz CPU's). By the way, it tuned and compiled any soft (In my case is Hatari - Atari ST emulator).

I have Asus EEE701 G4 with unlocked Celeron-900MHz (downgrade bios version needed). And Hatari 1.4.0-1.9.0 worked very well (Motorola M68020~14MHz emulate, can run a Ace 2.0)

Why SDL programms are not worked on low CPU's <1-2GHz? This script show how need compiled it's.

Hatari last versions compiled with SDL 2.0 and worst worked on 1-1.5GHz. Needed >2GHz. My script compiled Hatari with SDL 1.2 for work fine on <1GHz CPU's (Asus EEE701 and etc). In this case Slitaz Linux as host (can fine work on stock EEE-PC 700X 2G Surf CPU650MHz, RAM256-512Mb, eMMC 2Gb).

Fun fact. For the youngest model EEE-PC 700X 2G Surf, ASUS used cut-down Celeron M ULV processors with a frequency of 800 MHz and without L2 cache. Percents without second level cache! By the way, the architecture of this Celeron M was precisely the successor to the glorious Pentium III and the prototype for the legendary Core Duo and Core 2 Duo - it was in them that Intel used a modified Pentium/Celeron M core developed in 2003.
