Editing This Is Either A Corrupted Save, Or Not A Save File.

So you've broken your save and you're worried you've lost all your data? Well, don't worry! Read below to find out how to fix it.

  1. Download Elroy Source, Debug Build or Release Build I recommend using the Debug build as it will provide more information if it crashes.

  2. Load up your save by clicking File -> Open, find where your game's save is, usually it's in: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\<Steam ID>\480650\remote\savegame.dat

  3. You can make changes using the program to progress your save if you want to, but if your save really is broken it might pay not to touch anything as to not risk breaking it further.

  4. Click File -> Save, then close the program and launch Yu-Gi-Oh again.

Assuming the save file isn't to broken this should let you use your save again, like I have said if your save really was broken some things will no longer be unlocked as the game might not be able to do all the stuff it needs to do in order to load it. Just use Elroy to re-unlock it and click File -> Save again. However, failing this if it does indeed look bleak feel free to chuck the file into the Discord and me or someone else might try take a crack at fixing it for you manually.
