This sprint was a continuation of last week's sprint developing more functions for the myEYPD page that would help users, assess, curate, manage, record their professional development.
Brad
Lots of work was completed this week which included the introduction of a new library (d3.js.library) It was good to touch base everyday to
- get immediate feedback
- readjust the focus
- determine the scale and scope of specific iterations of an issue
Alex
- Appreciated the collaborative nature of this development sprint — Brad working with the data, Alex, working with javascript
- Stand-up meetings went well and the duration of these meetings met the standard 15 minute timeframe
- These meetings help to think through processes and problem solve.
Possible Improvements Understanding caching mechanisms with all the browsers in order to see the more accurate up to date changes.
Paula
- Appreciated meeting every day.
- Frustrated with the browser caching.
- Found it challenging to complete the validation process with this Sprint in light of other responsibilities with the EYPD project
Kathreen
- Found the daily 'stand-up meetings' invaluable in keeping up to date with challenges and upcoming validation items.
- Changed the validation process so that issues were reviewed more than once in separate time frames.
