Modding your Game

Modding your game can add new content to it or enhance your experience!

Delve into our community's fantastic mods, designed to enrich your gameplay and introduce new, exciting content.

Where to get mods

You can conveniently download mods directly from the Steam Workshop. Furthermore, within the game's main menu, you can configure various mod profiles and manage (enable or disable) your downloaded mods with ease.

Mod Compatibility Across Platforms

Currently, we only offer mod support exclusively on the Steam platform.

Can I Use Mods and Still Compete on the Leaderboards?

To maintain fairness, the use of mods will automatically disable the Prestige leaderboards. A warning will appear when you attempt to play Prestige mode with mods activated.

Where to get support for mods

To connect with the expansive Dome Keeper modding community, visit the #modding channel on our official Bippinbits Discord server. Alternatively, for more direct communication with a mod's developer(s), you can reach out via a mod's Steam Workshop page. When reporting bugs in the #bugs Discord channel, ensure that you have first uninstalled all mods.

In the event of mod-induced bugs, please contact the respective mod developer(s). If the troubled mod is listed on our Dome Keeper Mods page, you can find a Repository link (if available) and report the bug in their Issues section.

Risks of modding your game

Modifications (mods) for the Dome Keeper game are developed by third parties, and are not provided directly by the Dome Keeper creators. We strongly recommend only downloading mods from the Steam Workshop. Please be aware that mods do not undergo official certification and, as a result, there is a chance that a mod could contain malicious content. It is essential that you exercise caution and thoroughly vet all new mods prior to installation.
