I encountered a problem with opening a new session by clicking '+' button. This happens on both Mac OS and Windows 10/11. Here is how to reproduce it.

  1. Click session selector menu (20+ pre-defined sessions in my case), don't choose any selection. Just click any empty space in tabby. The selector menu goes away as expected.

  2. Now click '+' button or '+ New terminal'. This will no longer trigger an opening of a new session (which is supposed to). But if you click any empty space in tabby, the session will then be opened up. It feels like the click to '+' is stacked up until you click an empty space in tabby. With that said, if you click '+' 3 times (nothing happens) and then click an empty space in tabby, 3 sessions will be opened up all at once.

  3. This behavior can be reset back to normal by restarting tabby but it's kinda annoying.

Thanks.
