Prevent rendering plaidData.error as empty string

Details

These changes fix two problems

1. As described in the issue, there was a crash when opening plaid because the empty error string was being rendered.
2. The plaid link was opening twice because it was initialized with the old value. More details in this comment.

Tests

1. Log in to NewDot
2. Go to Settings > Preferences
3. Turn on "Use Secure Staging Server"
4. Go back to Settings > Payments
5. Click "Add payment method"
6. Click "Bank account"
7. Verify Plaid opens 1 popup
8. Close the Plaid popup and verify that you are redirected back to the Payments screen.
