The Improved Intra 42 extension is available for Chromium-based browsers (e.g. Google Chrome, Opera, Brave, Vivaldi, Edge) and for Mozilla Firefox.
You can simply find the extension in the Chrome Web Store. By installing it from there, the extension gets automatically updated on every new release.
In some 42 campuses, extensions often disappear from Google Chrome after logging out. This is a known problem. Luckily, there's a workaround for this: there's a shell script to forcefully keep extensions installed by making Chrome think they're part of your organization! You can find this script here. It also includes other useful extensions, which you can also optionally install.
If you do not want to use the Chrome Web Store, simply download the latest version from the Releases page here. Keep in mind that using this installation method might not automatically keep the extension up-to-date, and you will not be notified if new update(s) are available either.
With release v1.2.0, Mozilla decided to no longer list the extension in their add-on store, since they found it to be for a "limited/non-public audience". Luckily, they still want to sign the extension, meaning it can be installed directly from GitHub instead, and it will even automatically keep itself up to date! Find the latest release here, or click here to install the extension directly.
I've had some dubious experiences with the Opera Addons market in the past. Opera would often not publish updates to extensions I would release on there. So, with Improved Intra 42, I've decided to not release the extension on their marketplace. To install it anyways, please install the Install Chrome Extensions add-on by Opera themselves, and then install Improved Intra 42 using the Chrome Web Store.
