Map info panel
v1.30.6 has moved to this repo: Lailloken UI Legacy
To continue using it, you should install the v1.30.6 release from there because it has updated wiki-links for the settings menu that point to the correct wiki
-
streamlined presentation of map information for quicker scanning and better overview
-
map mods can be individually ranked depending on perceived difficulty
-
optional: the panel can be hotkey-toggled to quickly re-check map-mods while mapping
-
optional: re-rolling maps by shift-clicking chaos orbs will automatically refresh the tooltip
-
main UI-elements:
-
map-info tooltip: accessed via omni-clicking (default: middle mouse) a map
-
(optional) map-info panel: accessed via holding down TAB
-
-
this feature has its own section in the settings menu, with customization and sub-feature options
-
navigate to the
map-info
section in the settings menu and enable the feature -
omni-click a map to show the tooltip, then adjust the text-size to your liking
-
font-colors can also be changed from here
- copy an RGB-hexcode into the clipboard, then click one of the five buttons to apply it to that rank
-
omni-clicking a map will show the map-info tooltip above the cursor
-
the individual map-mods can be highlighted with different colors
-
hover over a mod, then press keys 1-4 to apply the corresponding color set up in the settings menu
-
it's up to the user to decide how many colors to use, i.e. it's not necessary to use all 4
-
press space while overing over a mod to strike it out and ignore it
-
-
pressing ESC or clicking into the game will close the tooltip
- optional: holding down TAB will show the map-info panel on the right side of the screen
-
the text is now right-aligned, and the mod-values are hidden
-
mods that have been ignored will no longer be shown
-
the panel is no longer clickable, and the mods' highlighting cannot be modified
-
-
the map-mods will be grouped according to their effect
- currently implemented groups: player, monsters, bosses, area, heist, expedition
-
the mods will be ordered by descending difficulty/rank (4 -> 1, the keys pressed to apply highlighting)
- ignored mods will always be listed at the bottom of each group, and they will also be ordered by descending difficulty/rank
-
the bottom of the tooltip/panel shows a summary of a map's mod-count, quantity, and pack-size, as well as a color spectrum to represent overall difficulty
-
this can be used while re-rolling maps in order to determine a map's difficulty at a glance
-
ignored mods have an additional white border and are placed to the far right
-
-
changes to ordering and the color spectrum will take effect immediately
-
the map-info feature also supports expedition logbooks
-
in addition to regular map mods, it will display the individual expedition choices and the associated mods and NPC
-
as soon as you enter the chosen encounter, the toggle-able overlay panel will remove the unpicked choices and only display the relevant one
-
-
expedition-mods can also be ranked by hovering over them and pressing number-keys, but this highlighting uses a separate set of colors
- this set of colors represents how desirable a mod is, rather than how difficult it is
