Error: Couldn't import RGB Image: 00003004 (KMS capture with Nvidia GPU) #453
Comments
Tried it again today with the v0.15.0 release, but the result is still the same. |
I have a 1080 and here's a snippet from my system attempting KMS capture software encoding:
|
From http://docs.neomades.com/en/current/GenericAPI/reference/javax/microedition/khronos/egl/EGL10.html 0x00003004 is EGL_BAD_ATTRIBUTE I tried playing with the attributes in egl::import_source() but don't know anything about EGL so did not get very far. |
Tried today with new release. Built from aur and from source. Sunshine is still broken in Wayland+Nvidia. |
Can verify this as reproducible in v0.17.0 (sunshine_x86_64.flatpak) with usage of KMS capture and Wayland on Gnome. Nvidia 525 driver is also used. Only X11 and NVFBC capture works. |
FWIW, I'm having the same error on an AMD Radeon RX 5700XT, using the AUR package on Arch Linux. Sunshine starts up but unable to connect from a Moonlight device. Tweaking the AUR package to use commit a93c13a (from this PR) resolves the issue for me.

This issue has been fixed and will be available in the next release. |
…y_ram_t" This reverts commit ebe01ce. Looks like this commit undos the fix for LizardByte#453, see also PRs LizardByte#649 and LizardByte#884. This also adds a comment so hopefully it doesn't get removed again in the future (or a proper fix is found).

Describe the Bug
Following up on #48, as this issue still seems unresolved.
I posted a comment in the prior issue was because the "next release" isn't out yet and the issue was still open, so I figured the conditions for opening a new issue weren't met yet, but I guess this will work too.
I have attached the full debug log.
