Chart Manager

This tool helps you to work with charts in Microsoft Dynamics CRM in one single screen. Using standard features of Microsoft Dynamics CRM, edit charts requires to export chart definition one by one, edit them in your favorite XML editor, then import them one by one. With this tool, you can export chart(s) by entity, import multiple charts in one action, and even edit individual charts directly without the need to export/import them

To use this tool, first connect to an organization

Available operations are the following:

##Load Entities This operation loads entities list. You can then select an entity to display its charts

##Edit Chart When a chart is selected, you can edit it directly. The screen below display editable information for a chart (name, description, data and presentation). When updating a chart, the corresponding entity is also published.

##Export Charts Chart(s) checked in charts list are exported in the folder of your choice. The exported XML files are the same that Microsoft Dynamics CRM procudes when using standard export feature. Personal charts are exported with "_personal" suffix in their name. Please do not remove this suffix unless you want to import this chart as a personal chart later.

##Import Charts When clicking on this menu, you can choose to import one file or import all XML files contained in a folder. If a chart already exists in the connected organization, a confirmation dialog appears. Only existing charts are displayed in this list. Untick files that need to be created as new charts. Keep them ticked so that existing charts are updated. File ending with "_personal" are created/updated as personal charts
