Settings Guide
This page contains a very comprehensive guide of all the customizable settings in Tibialyzer. It is ordered by tab. If you are interested in what a specific setting or button does, or how to customize something, this is the place to search.
-
Character Names
: Contains the list of characters to accept Tibialyzer commands from in-game. Add your character names here if you want thecommands@
to work from the in-game chat. -
Select Tibia Client
: Selects the Tibia client from a list of all processes. Should generally not be used. -
Detect Flash Client
: If you are playing on the flash client, clickDetect Flash Client
for Tibialyzer to try to find the flash client so it can be scanned. Note that only the Chrome and Firefox flash clients are supported. -
Save Loot Image
: Write a screenshot of theloot@
notification to a user-specified file. -
Save Damage Image
: Write a screenshot of thedamage@
notification to a user-specified file. -
Save Summary Image
: Write a screenshot of thesummary@
notification to a user-specified file. -
Display All Items As Stackable
: If this option is enabled all items will be stacked in theloot@
view, including items that cannot be stacked in Tibia itself. If the option is disabled, unstackable items will be repeated. -
Ignore Low Experience Creatures
: If this option is enabled the loot views (loot@
andsummary@
) will not display kills and loot from small creatures that are under the experience threshold. The experience threshold can be specified in theExp Value
field. -
Automatically Write Loot To File
: If this option is enabled, all loot messages will be automatically written to the fileDatabase/loot.txt
. This is useful as a backup of your hunts, and useful if you want to gather statistics about the loot you have found. -
Download New Addresses
: Download new memory addresses from the Tibialyzer GitHub page. Should only be used after an update to the Tibia client, and only works if I have updated the new addresses. -
Generate Partial Addresses
: Download new memory addresses from a different GitHub page. This only pulls a part of all the memory addresses required by Tibialyzer, and should only be used after an update to the Tibia client when I have not yet updated the addresses myself. -
Update Database
: Updates the Tibialyzer creature/item/npc database with a new database from the Tibialyzer GitHub page. You can check this page for information on when the database has last been updated. Note that this downloads a 20MB file and requires Tibialyzer to be restarted. -
Execute Tibialyzer Command
: Execute an arbitrary Tibialyzer command.
-
View Looked At Objects
: If this option is enabled information popups will be shown when you look at (shift+click) objects in Tibia, such as creatures, items, NPCs and other players. -
Copy Advances To Clipboard
: If this option is enabled, level advance messages and achievements will be copied to the clipboard automatically, allowing you to easily copy+paste them. -
Extra Player Look Information
: If this option is enabled, and you look at a player, extra information about that player will be downloaded from the tibia.com characters page. This information includes recent deaths, house, guild and marriage status. -
Popup Type (Rich Popup/System Popup)
: Customizes the popup style. System popups are lightweight, but rich popups include more information and look better. -
Popup On Event
: If this option is enabled, a popup is displayed when a known event message is scanned. -
Popup On Unrecognized Command
: If this option is enabled, a popup is displayed when Tibialyzer encounters an unknown command. Note that if you are using the flash client, this can popup unexpectedly because of junk memory. It is recommended to disable this option if you are using the flash client. -
Enable Popup Animations
: If this option is enabled, popups will slide in when they are first shown. -
Default Outfit Gender (Male/Female)
: Chooses the outfit gender that is displayed when theoutfit@
command is used. -
Experience Computation (Standard/Weighted)
: Chooses the method used by Tibialyzer to compute experience per hour.Standard (Tibia Client Style)
simply multiplies the experience gained in the last 15 minutes by 4, whileWeighted
weighs recent experience gains more heavily than older experience gains. -
Scanning Speed (0-100)
: Set the delay used when scanning memory of the Tibia client. This determines Tibialyzers' CPU usage. A fast scanning speed (low number) means high CPU usage and fast response time, while a slow scanning speed (high number) means low CPU usage and slow response time. -
Scan Entire Memory/Scan Internal Tabs Structure
: Chooses the method used for scanning the Tibia clients' memory.Scan Internal Tabs Structure
is the fastest, but requires Tibialyzer to know the Tibia clients' memory addresses. Note that this has no effect when using the flash client; Tibialyzer will always useScan Entire Memory
when scanning the flash client. -
Skip Duplicate Loot
: Skips duplicate loot messages when encountered. Note that this should only be enabled if you have issues with Tibialyzer incorrectly counting loot multiple times (which should only happen for the flash client or when you are usingScan Entire Memory
). When this option is enabled legitimate duplicate loot messages will also be ignored; e.g. if you kill two creatures at the same time that drop exactly the same loot. -
Skip Duplicate Commands
: Similar to skip duplicate loot, but with duplicate commands. This should be enabled only if you are having issues with a command being executed multiple times when you have only typed in the command once (which should only happen for the flash client or when you are usingScan Entire Memory
). When this option is enabled legitimate duplicate commands will also be ignored; so if you typeloot@
twice in the same minute the secondloot@
command will not register. You can circumvent this somewhat by adding additional@
symbols at the end (e.g.loot@@
). -
Reset Settings To Default
: Reset all Tibialyzer settings to the default settings. Note that this does not influence saved hunts and loot.
-
List of Hunts
: You can add your own hunts here by pressing theEnter
key (or delete them using theDelete
key). Hunts are a way of organizing the way you track the loot you found. All options in this tab apply only to the selected hunt, and can be specified separately for each hunt. -
Set As Active Hunt
: When this button is pressed, the currently selected hunt is made theactive hunt
. All loot found is added to the active hunt. -
Clear Hunt On Startup
: If enabled, this hunt will be cleared when Tibialyzer starts up. Allows you to have a "fresh" hunt that is always empty when you start up. -
Show Loot
: Displays the loot of the selected hunt, equivalent toloot@[huntname]
-
Creature List
: In this list you can specifyTracked Creatures
for this hunt. You can type in the names of creatures you want to add, and add new creatures by pressingEnter
. Tracked creatures relate to the next batch of options. -
Display All Creatures
: If enabled, all creatures will be displayed in theloot@
andsummary@
notifications. If this option is disabled, onlyTracked Creatures
will be displayed and other creatures will be ignored. Note that information about non-tracked creatures will still be added to the hunt, it will simply not be displayed in the notifications. -
Active if tracked creature is killed
: If this option is enabled and a creature in this hunts' tracked creatures list is killed, this hunt will be automatically set as theActive Hunt
. Note that you should not have multiple hunts with this option enabled and overlapping tracked creatures, as this will cause strange behavior where Tibialyzer will constantly switch between the two hunts. -
Always add tracked creatures to hunt
: If this option is enabled and a creature in this hunts' tracked creatures list is killed, the loot information will be added to this hunt in addition to being added to the active hunt. This is useful if you want to track, for example, "all demon loot". You can create a new hunt, enable this option and add a Demon to the creature list. All loot found by demons will then be added to this hunt.
-
Save Log To File
: Save the loot messages of the selected hunt to a file specified by the user. -
Load Log From File
: Load loot messages from a file into the selected hunt. Note that this will replace all the loot in the hunt. -
Clear Log
: Delete all loot from the selected hunt. -
Log Messages
: This shows a list of recent log messages in the hunt. You can delete log messages by selecting a log message and pressing theDelete
key. -
Show All Loot
: Shows the loot of the selected hunt. -
Popup Selected Message
: Displays a popup with the loot of the selected log message.
- The command
reset@[time]
can be used to clear the loot of the active hunt except the loot found in the last[time]
minutes. Thus if you accidently have old loot in your hunt but you have already started a new hunt, you can usereset@15
to clear everything except for the loot found in the last 15 minutes. - The command
delete@[creaturename]
can be used to clear loot from a specified creature from the active hunt. For example,delete@cobra
will delete all loot from thecobra
creature. - The command
delete@[killcount]
can be used to delete creatures that have been killed less than[killcount]
times in the active hunt. For example,delete@15
will remove all creatures that have been killed less than 15 times.
-
Notification Type List
: Most options on this tab can be set separately for every type of notification. You can select to which notification the settings should apply. -
X Offset/Y Offset
: The offset of the notification from the anchor point.X Offset
specifies the horizontal offset, andY Offset
specifies the vertical offset. -
Anchor (Top Left, Top Right, Bottom Left, Bottom Right)
: The anchor point for the notification on the monitor. TheX/Y Offsets
are applied relative to this anchor point. -
Display Group (Group 1..10)
: Display groups can be used to have multiple active notifications. Only one notification in the same display group can be active at the same time. By default, all notifications are in Display Group 1, meaning only one notification can be active at a time. However, if you want multiple notifications to be active at once you can change the display group of the notifications. If you set theDisplay Group
of theSummary Notification
toGroup 2
, notifications inGroup 1
can be active at the same time as theSummary Notification
. -
Duration (Seconds)
: Specifies the duration that the notification will remain active. Setting the duration toINF
(all the way to the right) means the notification will only close when the notification is clicked or theclose@
command is given. Otherwise the notification will automatically close after the specified amount of time has elapsed. -
Display Notification
: Test displays the selected notification so you can test if it is being displayed correctly. -
Clear Display
: Closes all active notifications. -
Apply These Settings To All
: Apply the settings of the currently selected notification to all notifications (Warning: This will overwrite the settings of the other notifications)
-
Monitor Anchor
: Determines which monitor the notifications should use.Tibia Client Monitor
will create notifications on the monitor that theTibia Client
is on.Tibialyzer Monitor
will create notifications on the monitor that Tibialyzer is on. -
Only Show When Tibia Is Active
: If this option is specified, notifications will be automatically hidden when both Tibia and Tibialyzer are minimized (e.g. when you are browsing the web).
-
Popup Duration
: Specifies how long popups will remain active after being shown. -
X Offset/Y Offset
: The offset of the popups from the anchor point. -
Anchor (Top Left, Top Right, Bottom Left, Bottom Right)
: The anchor point for the popup on the monitor. -
Size (Width)
: The width of the popups. -
Show Copy Button
: If enabled, a copy button will be added to loot popups allowing you to easily copy the loot message to the clipboard. -
Set Item Value Popup
: Displays a popup when an item drops that is worth at least the value specified in the text box. -
Set Gold/Cap Ratio Popup
: Displays a popup when an item drops that has at least the gold/cap ratio specified in the text box. -
Popup Items
: You can add items to the popup items list by pressingEnter
. When any item in this list drops, a popup will appear regardless of the value of the item.
In the popup conditions box, you can specify custom conditions on which the notifications should trigger. They are written in the SQL language, and are part of the following query.
SELECT {0} FROM item,creature
The tables item
and creature
are set up as follows.
name | value | capacity | count |
---|---|---|---|
Name of the item. | Value of the item. | Capacity. | Amount of items dropped. |
name | exp | hp |
---|---|---|
Name of the creature. | Experience of the creature. | Life of the creature |
Here are a bunch of example popup conditions, with an explanation of when they trigger.
SUM(item.value * item.count) >= 500
creature.exp >= 4000
COUNT(*) >= 4
1=1
item.value >= 200 AND (item.value / item.capacity) >= 100
You can easily test whether or not a popup is displayed on a specific loot message. Paste the loot message in the box Test Popup Message
, and click on the Popup Test
button. If a popup shows up, the Popup Conditions or Popup Items trigger a popup on this loot message. Otherwise, the conditions determine that no popup should be displayed.
In the item@[itemname]
notification you can specify per item if you would like to pick it up or not, or if you would like to convert it to gold in the loot@
and summary@
displays. In the database tab, you can perform filters on a large amount of items at once rather than specifying this per item individually. Note that these filters affect all items. If you specified for a specific item if you would like to pick it up or discard it, these filters will override your selection.
At the top of this tab you can see a set of items. Below each item the gold/cap ratio and the value of the item is displayed. The color of these squares indicate the pickup
/discard
and convert
/no convert
flags of the items.
- Red indicates the item is not picked up.
- Green indicates the item is picked up.
- Gold indicates the item is converted to gold.
- Blue indicates the item is not converted to gold.
-
Gold/Cap Discard Ratio
: Discard all items with a gold/cap ratio lower than the ratio specified in the box. -
Value Discard Ratio
: Discard all items with a value lower than the value specified in the box. -
SQL Discard Query
: Write a custom SQL query to determine which items to pickup and which items to discard. The query that is performed is:
UPDATE Items SET discard=0 WHERE {query};
A subset of the properties you can use is displayed in the Item Properties
tab. For example, if you want to discard all items that weigh more than 100.0 capacity, the query would be capacity < 100.0
.
-
Gold/Cap Convert Ratio
: Convert all items with a gold/cap ratio lower than the ratio specified in the box. -
Value Convert Ratio
: Convert all items with a value lower than the value specified in the box. -
SQL Convert Query
: Similar toSQL Discard Query
, but with theconvert
property. The query that is performed is:
UPDATE Items SET convert_to_gold=0 WHERE {query};
See the AutoHotkey Guide for more information on AutoHotkey integration.

Each of the elements of the summary tab can be customized by specifying the maximum amount of lines for each component. If the maximum amount of lines is zero the component is left out, otherwise there will be at most the amount of lines specified using the slider. The image size specifies the size of the items displayed in each of the components.
The HUD tab allows you to customize Tibialyzers' HUD elements. Note that all HUD elements can be customized individually.
