Dom working on issue #430 and has opened up a no-longer-draft PR.
ufs-weather-model PR https://github.com/ufs-community/ufs-weather-model/pull/1013 is currently tested, when committed issue https://github.com/NCAR/ccpp-framework/issues/397 will be closed ("Update unit of errmsg in metavar.py" completed)
Steve's status very uncertain (currently fully booked on other projects)
Upcoming infrastructure review at NCAR will assess CCPP, Steve provided background information to the review leads: https://wiki.ucar.edu/display/SIMA/SIMA+Infrastructure+Review
NCAR hiring effort to backfill some of the departures at DTC and help with CCPP development is ongoing
