Version 0.1.0

Initial release of the control code. Previous versions ( v0.0.# ) are considered draft and are not production ready.
Release includes a binary version of the software configured for the hardware used in-lab at the time of release.

New Features

  • Designed with safety in mind with inclusion of explicit Manual Override by the main control switch and remote lockout (5 sec) whenever manual override is used.
  • Partial integration of ROS. If ethernet enabled, will publish the current position to the /joint_states topic.
  • Adds pins for external output notification signals to operator
  • Adds input mode switch (using onboard switch) to control setup procedure to include/exclude TCP/IP network connection
