All three models use a target year of 2018, filter non-egrid emissions based on NAICS codes, using a 95% efficiency factor for distribution to final users. The models using eGRID generation data use a distinct methods of fuel category grouping and facility filtering from those using EIA generation data. See the documentation for additional details.
This release is used to build the first version of the US Electricity Baseline on the Federal LCA Commons
using model ELCI_1. Only ELCI_1 has been fully checked for integrity.
This version has passed the review and QA requirements as specified by the EPA Office and Research and Development/Center for Environmental Solutions and Emergency Response.
