How to add Shelly BLU H&T to Battery Notes

Hi all, I have just received my brand new Shelly BLU H&T which is a bluetooth humidity and temperature sensor from Shelly.

Unfortunately it does not seem to be automatically discovered by Battery Notes.

I could not find it in the library of Battery Notes, so I thought I could just add it to the library. I tried to fill the form for requesting new devices to be added to the library. However it does not seem to match for Bluetooth devices (or I just do not see how to use it). For example this bluetooth device has obviously no IP-Address.

Can anyone point me to the right direction?

I don't think these can be automatically identified, just add it manually by adding a new device to the battery notes integration.

If you go into the configuration of the device you just set up, at the top it will tell you what you should add as a new device request.
As long as the manufacturer and model are shown then it can be added.
I don't have one of these myself so surprised it's not in the library if it can be.

Unfortunately the manufacturer, model id and hardware version fields are empty. The model is displayed as "BTHome sensor". The library contains an BTHome sensor (with manufacturer Shelly) entry. So it is not automatically detected, because the empty manufacturer field does not match "Shelly", right? Anything we/you can do about it?

Don't get me wrong. My device has been successfully added and everything is working as expected. I am just curious and trying to help that in the future these devices can eventually be automatically discovered.

Ah yes I've had questions about BTHome devices before. The integration doesn't pick up the manufacture or model from the devices so they won't be possible to add unless the core integration is changed.
I remember there is an issue raised in Home assistant for this but I'm not sure if it's possible or when that will change.

Understood, the BTHome integration has to provide the proper manufacturer and model when it adds the device with its details to Home Assistant.

The corresponding issue of the BTHome integration seems to be home-assistant/core#132506

Yes that's the issue I saw.
I don't know how complex that will be but if it ever gets changed then we can have battery notes pick up the model like most others.
