After seeing this, my feelings are pretty mixed. It adds this extra layer of indirection and isn't what people expect when looking at a karma.conf.js. And the code in the config file is simple enough that you don't get a huge benefit from TS.

In my defense, the browser-providers files is getting smaller and easier to read. The configuration itself doesn't fully benefit but might in the future if we add stuff.
I agree though that this is a small section of the repo that won't get touched regularly.

Found the problem with the last few updates; the browserStack didn't properly start a tunnel and one was needed. I set the Now, angular2 has a script to manually start a tunnel. I'm not 100% what the advantage of having this kind of control for us would be, but I'll consider it in a future update. For now, I consider this PR done and working and will rebase and merge tomorrow morning, unless @jelbourn wants to put this on hold to review. |

We start tunnel via a script because we want to reuse one tunnel across Additionally since the tunnel takes a while to start we start initiating it I suggest you stick to the same setup as A2
