@cart I contributed dpad support for macos to gilrs. This pull request updates us to gilrs 0.8.0 to gain that new feature. AFAICT there are no breaking changes in my testing on macOS. I don't see anything else in the changelog for 0.8.0 that should be a concern.

Cool looks like we have an unrelated clippy failure now from what im assuming is a clippy upgrade.

the fix is here: #656

We'll need to do a rebase after merging to pick up the changes.
