Required User Information and Privacy Policy

The catalogue requires users to enter a name (or pseudonym) and email address to submit a new entry. This information will be used for the following purposes:

• The name or pseudonym will be used to count contributions and build a leaderboard at the end of the sprint (Wednesday October 13th AOE)
• The email will be used to reach out to users if they indicate that they volunteer to follow up on a specific resource (option in the form)
• The email will be used to ask participants who qualify for a swag prize for a physical mailing address
• Additionally, the email addresses may be used to follow up with participants who add significant numbers of entries about follow up work (such as acknowledgement in a paper)

This information will remain on the machine that hosts the catalogue and only be accessible by the organizers. The public version of the catalogue will only have the information about the entries, without the user information of the person who submitted them.
