- Class hours and location: MW 2:30pm - 3:45pm, MSC W201.
- Prerequisites:
- Introductory course on Computer Programming (preferably in Python).
- Introductory course on Probabilities and Statistics.
- Jinho Choi: MW 12:30pm - 2:30pm, MSC E414.
- Gary Lai: Th 3:00pm - 5:00pm, MSC E308 (Computer Lab).
- Homework assignments: 50%.
- Project proposal: 20%.
- Final project: 30%.
- Your work is governed by the Emory Honor Code and the Math/CS SPCA. Honor code violations on any submission will be referred to the Emory Honor Council.
- Assignments are due by the beginning of the classes and must be submitted individually with your original work.
- Apparent copies from any source (e.g., your colleagues, internet sites) will be referred to the Emory Honor Council.
- Late submissions for homework assignments are accepted with the grading penalty of 15%. Exceptions to this policy will be made only in extraordinary circumstances.

- Excuses for absence/reschedule and other serious personal events (health, family, personal related, etc.) that affect course performance must be accompanied by a letter from the Office of Undergraduate Education.
