Jamaica Plain

Jamaica Plain, or JP as it's more commonly referred to, is recognized as one of Boston's diverse and artsy neighborhoods. Popular spots include Jamaica Pond, Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University and Franklin Park Zoo. Boston.com and Time Out Boston recommend Midway Café, Bella Luna and the Milky Way Lounge and Ten Tables for a night out in Jamaica Plain. Jamaica Plain is a wonderful, multicultural neighborhood filled with a variety of unique restaurants, shops and people. Warning: safety is a concern is some parts of Jamaica Plain.
