The North End is the city's "Little Italy" is a historical neighborhood full of excellent restaurants. The North End is home to the Old North Church, signaled Paul Revere's famous Midnight Ride and the beginning of the American Revolution. This area is ideal for young professionals and families. The Boston Globe has listed Giacomo's Ristorante, Pomodoro and The Daily Catch as restaurants worth visiting. Two famous pastry shops rival each other, Mike's Pastry and Modern Pastry. The North End sits next to Downtown Boston and Faneuil Hall. Warning: this area is better traveled by foot than by car due to its narrow streets.
