I think 1 day is too short, could we increase it to at least a week? I worry that while most of comments on an issue/pr after it is closed may not be necessary, there are few that might be (such as a “please re-open this”) and locking too soon may increase the count of issues. Now if those few are still missed due to the issue being closed the bot will let the commenter know of the contribution document and that they should open a new issue. some people may go on vacation/be sick/have crunch time at work/be moving/ or any number of things, and so having even a slight amount of leeway in the timing may be beneficial for us and them. |
