dep status -v doesn't show any verbose message. Some verbose messages would make it better to understand that's happening.

what all verbose messages would we actually put in? it seems like "verbosity" here is really much more clearly about a debug mode than it is verbosity, as the controls for what fields are shown are (or are specced to) be in other sorts of options.

This was solved with #1009, #1037 and #1135 and can be closed now. When this issue was opened, status used to not have any logging to show what's happening. Now, it shows the error and asks to run with -v for detailed error logs with stderr output. Closing...
