  • Added search bar to effects tab in config utility

Changes

  • Fixed mod breaking apart without existing effects.ini file
  • Fixed voting not working with an empty permitted username whitelist
  • Significally reduced stuttering when some effects are activated the first time (due to game memory scanning)
  • Fixed online vehicles despawn bypass not working if another save has been loaded
  • Exposed "TeleportPlayer" to Lua runtime
  • Fixed some options potentially not saving (caused by config files carried over from older versions)
  • Fixed "Combo Time" meta effect not applying to distance-based effect dispatch

Changes

  • Fixed invalid mod behaviour if no config has been generated through the config utility
  • Fixed invalid default effect weight multiplier causing the same effects to be chosen repeatedly
  • Initial mod startup time has been improved by running hooks in separate thread

General Changes

  • Implemented Discord voting, check chaosmod/README/voting/voting.txt for more details
  • Script effects from the workshop are now configurable, go to the submission settings page and click on the "..." button next to a script file to modify effect settings in the same manner as built-in effects
  • Added option to use any prefix for voteable options (e.g. "a" to turn the options into "a1", "a2", "a3", "a4", etc.)
  • Added option to hide all mod splash texts
  • Script effects can now use Ctrl, Shift and Alt modifiers for shortcut keys
  • Added Australia

Effect Changes

  • Added "Fake U-Turn Effect" and "Bouncy Radar" effects
  • Made sprunk machines in "Quick Sprunk Stop" functional
  • "Ignite Player" extinguishes the fire after a few seconds now
  • "Sideways Gravity" and "Random Gravity" now give everything invincibility for the duration of the effect
  • "Fake Death" now uses more professional death texts, absolutely

Fixes

  • Fixed regression breaking compatibility with Rainbomizer mod
  • Fixed regression causing sound effects inside sound folders not being registered by the mod
  • Fixed meta timer-effects (like "2x Timer Speed") not affecting distance based timer
  • Fixed aborting a workshop submission update causing it to show up as not installed
  • Fixed crash if "sounds" directory didn't exist
  • Fixed permanent effects not being restarted after clearing effects using the shortcut
