secure-variable-form is getting to be pretty logic heavy and its mixing a few concerns of rendering the template, managing state, validation, dispatching updates/saves and transforming data.
I think I found a potential lurking bug in didUpdateArguments for the modifier implementation where we might be comparing the value against a stale copy of content.
