If you cannot see that you have to check your firewall, you may not have the correct rights to connect to the public interface of the firewall.

## you encounter an issue with the Solr container

- check the permissions of the /data/oih-ui-docker/api/solr/sample-solr-data dir, all should be set to 777 (rwxrwxrwx)
- try deleting the write.lock file inside the sample-solr-data folder and restart the container
## you see something else when surfing to https://domain-name

- check if the DNS is pointing to the correct IP address
- check if your firewall/reverse proxy is forwarding the IP traffic for ports 80/443 to this machine's internal IP address
- check if no other webserver is running on this machine
```bash
netstat -tupl
```
should give you something like
```
Active Internet connections (only servers)
Proto Recv-Q Send-Q Local Address Foreign Address State PID/Program name
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:http 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 1466/docker-proxy
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:ssh 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 826/sshd: /usr/sbin
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:https 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 1423/docker-proxy
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:8000 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 1343/docker-proxy
```
meaning docker-proxy is listening to http (port 80) and https (port 443), there can be more ports docker-proxy is listening to (in this example port 8000)
