  • Figure out the envoyinit build
  • Redo gen_types using go-control-plane & envoy-gloo/go
  • Add to build/release process
  • Remove hack in default GatewayParameters to not use static version
  • Follow up on filter stages code broken out from gloo
  • Publish envoy-gloo as a more consumable component (naming, versioning matching envoy?, etc.)

incompatibility with istio/go-control-plane solved via istio/istio#54803

so once we can update istio after #10487 is fixed the gen_types should be simple to fix
