useAcrylic
messes bg color
#14332
Comments
Thanks for the report! Interesting that this happens with I wonder if this was solved by #14193. It sounds pretty darn similar... |
@zadjii-msft does this seem the same to you? |
Hi! We've identified this issue as a duplicate of another one that already exists on this Issue Tracker. This specific instance is being closed in favor of tracking the concern over on the referenced thread. Thanks for your report! |
@zadjii-msft Yeah, I saw that one too, but this one is different: I want to use the acrylic feature, but it's influencing the background color in way that makes it too bright. I'll wait for the new version to come out but I'm guessing that it will still be there... |
Windows Terminal version
1.15.2874.0
Windows build number
10.0.19044.0
Other Software
No response
Steps to reproduce
Using "opacity": 100
,
"useAcrylic": false` with a black bg color, gets a grayish bg color which is way too light to be considered black.I've seen #13986 and #603, but this is different from both: I like the acrylic option with some blurred opacity, but it's just making the background too bright right now.
Expected Behavior
Some gray is expected, of course, but should be much closer to the black background color that I use.
Actual Behavior
I get this background, which is close to
#222222
:This is with full opacity and shown on a black window behind it just to minimize color leaking.
