There is an issue with some of the presets. This pull request introduces new tags or unusual values by adding unused or hardly used tags via preset: * emergency=lifeguard (52 uses vs. 444 emergency=lifeguard_tower and 243 lifeguard_base) * emergency=fire_alarm_box (35 uses) * booth=yes (143 uses vs. 4229 total uses of booth and vs. 5063 covered=booth) * emergency=first_aid_kit (1 use)

I am raising it here, because the iD maintainers are aware that they are introducing new tags. Bryan has recently written he won't engage in tagging discussions on the mailing list any more, but just "support stuff", which by looking at this PR apparently meant to continue introducing new tags with the huge leverage that comes by adding tags as iD presets.

I'm not about to fork iD so either I take what @bhousel provides, we freeze it at the current version, or we remove it from the web site.

the best option would be convincing Bryan of adding only presets for tags that are already used in significant numbers.

Well you can try to do that just as well as I can, and you are apparently the person that is bothered by it.
