Intended audience:

  • App authors who want to make their apps good.
  • App reviewers who want to make sure an app in the experimental app market is worth publishing.

General advice on testing Sandstorm apps

  • Where to find experimental versions of apps: The Sandstorm App Market shows experimental apps if you pass a special query string parameter. Try this URL: https://apps.sandstorm.io/?experimental=true
  • Where to run experimental versions of apps: We suggest opening an incognito window in your favorite web browser, then visiting https://demo.sandstorm.io/ and using a free demo account on Oasis.
  • How to make sure you're testing the latest experimental version. Once you have logged into the demo account, visit the experimental app market, click on the app, then click Install. Visit the app page within oasis.sandstorm.io and make sure the app version is the same as the version you see on the experimental app market.
  • What to test: See the app-specific page.
