DABstar V2.5.0
AppImage of DABstar V2.5.0, based on Ubuntu 20.04, tested on Ubuntu 22.04.
The major change in behavior is a fix in the Dynamic Label Text where formerly sometime "umlauts" (ö, ü, ä a.o) were shown broken.
The code base has changed to use "native" Qt and Qwt (provided by the Ubuntu repository) again. But this AppImage still works with Qwt 6.2.0.

DABstar V2.4.0
AppImage of DABstar V2.4.0, based on Ubuntu 20.04, tested on Ubuntu 22.04.
Now I added some new features, so I decided to provide a new AppImage.
- Refine the SDRplay V3 device UI and the device driver (I could only test with a RSPdx).
- Add an overload detection display to the SDRplay UI.
- Optimize the reference OFDM symbol peak search to better handle multipath receiving conditions.
- Show the threshold limit in the correlation spectrum and norm the graph to this limit (it is fixed shown at 0dB).
- Refactor the correlation viewer class.
- Clean up the grid for the correlation graph and spectrum graph (less dense grid).

DABstar V2.3.0
AppImage of DABstar V2.3.0, based on Ubuntu 20.04, tested on Ubuntu 22.04.
What is new in 2.3.0
- Uses a self-made application icon and pause slide (maybe not so artistic but I am not a graphic designer)
- Change the code base at many points to be able to try a native windows build with Visual Studio (but still got bigger issues, so it would take longer...)
- Beside some minor things no new feature is added. So, if you are satisfied with V2.2.0 no upgrade is necessary.

DABstar V2.2.0
AppImage of DABstar V2.2.0, based on Ubuntu 20.04, tested on Ubuntu 22.04.
What is new in 2.2.0
- A bigger fix replaying files regarding my new service list introduced in V2.0.0.
There is still the small issue that the channel name does not (necessarily) fit to the file content. - There is only one file-reading dialog now. The file type selection happens in the file dialog field.
It is selectable whether the QT or native file dialog should be shown. - Improve error checking for file handling.
- Refine the setting management.
This causes that the setting file (in~/.config/dabstar/
) got a new filename.
So, the settings has to be put-in new.
Same happens to the service-list database file, so possibly already made favorites got lost.
Sorry for that circumstance. - Small UI and many code refinements under the hood.
