Is there a roadmap of your works?
Did you consider a menu plugin ?? (I like the simple kendoui menu...)

Thank you for positive feedback. I do not have an official road map, but I do mark "nice to have" features. Usually in comments on the top of the file, sometimes as comments in the code. Generally, road map is influence by what are the needs to the current project I am using w2ui in. Here are few things in works

1. iPad support (improved UX)
2. Font-Awesome support
3. LESS implementation
4. Custom scrollbars and infinite scroll
5. Updated form controls and editable fields
6. More dynamic overlays
7. and bug fixes of course

I am also working on w2touch 2.0 aligning it more with w2ui. And, I want to improve the website and documentation and allow user generated content for each documentation page and a forum.

Menu Plugin

I think this functionality can be currently implemented with w2toolbar object, which does not have to come alongside the grid. See http://w2ui.com/web/demos/#!toolbar/toolbar-2 for an example. You can style it completely transparent, so it could look like a menu.
