The Challenge

University of Queensland, Australia held an Engineering design hackathon to help aid the global ventilator development effort and to combat ventilator shortage all around the world. We developed a rapidly manufacturable ventilator for emergency use, using off-the-shelf components and improve its functionalities to reach as close to the sophisticated hospital ventilators as possible.
