Functional Requirements

  • The system shall allow the vehicle to move forward and in reverse
  • The system shall allow the vehicle to move to maneuver to the left and right
  • The system shall allow the vehicle to brake and come to a full stop

Non-Functional Requirements

  • The vehicle cannot deviate more than 5 degrees from straight line path for 95% of the time
  • The vehicle shall come to a full stop within maximum of 2 seconds while driving at 1.5km/h

Example

If the car is for consumer use the consumer would want the car to perform basic movement so that it would be able to compete with other smart cars.
