This guide helps you to make sure that you ESGF P2P node is ready for use with Globus Online. There are not many steps, but please follow them carefully.
First is to make sure that your node has a Globus Online endpoint name. If you're unsure how to do this, send mail to Neill Miller with the following information:
- GridFTP server hostname and port
- MyProxy server hostname and port
Once the endpoint name is created, add the following line to your _ /esg/config/esgf.properties _ file:
gridftp.globusonline.endpoint=esg#MY-NODE-NAME
For example, the ANL node contains an entry of " _ gridftp.globusonline.endpoint=esg#anl _ ".
Restart the node for this change to take effect.
