Assuming that you have logged into an ESGF P2P node, and have already located some data to be transferred, this documentation picks it up at the point when you're ready to move data.
If you would like to download data from an ESG node to your personal workstation, laptop, or desktop machine, you will need to do a one time configuration of GlobusConnect, a cross platform and easy to use tool for coordinating transfers.
If you already have Globus Connect configured on your machine, please skip to the next section.
