This wiki is specifically designed for members of the Mobility Data Space who have already signed the membership contract and wish to actively participate in the data exchange. If you are not a member yet, please use the contact form on our website to reach out to our Community Team.
The wiki is organized into four main chapters, aiming to provide our members with comprehensive documentation and a step-by-step guide on how to interact within the MDS:
-
Architecture overview: For a comprehensive understanding of the Mobility Data Space, including detailed explanations of component functionalities and currently operational environments, please refer to this chapter.
-
Version overview: In this chapter, you'll find version summaries of components in both test and productive environments. It includes release notes highlighting new features and the provisional release schedule.
-
User guide: Here, you'll find a step-by-step manual for registering in the MDS, establishing connections to the data space, and participating in data exchange. It is worth mentioning that we have prepared templates that allow you to install not only the connector itself but also reverse and auth proxies in one package.
-
Useful information: This section addresses common queries, offering comprehensive answers for users, the MDS Glossary and Ontology, as well as useful tools.
There are two separate environments of the Mobility Data Space. There is a test environment and a productive environment. As the name implies, the test environment is used to test new connectors and resources. If you implement or install a new connector, you should first test it in the test environment. Important: The productive environment shall only be used for productive use and not for test purposes.
The full overview of current versions and release notes can be found here.
This documentation contains numerous abbreviations and technical component names. For detailed explanations, please refer to the official glossary provided by the International Data Spaces Association.
