MDS Support-Tool

1. Start

Mds Portal Home

The User Journey starts in the MDS Portal. When the User wants to get to the Support or Ticket-System he has to scroll down in the left side menu to see the "MDS Support" Button.

By clicking on the "MDS Support" Button the User gets redirected to the Ticketing-System.

2. Log in

Mds Support Login

Right at the beginning of the ticket system you will see a Login screen. On this form, you can log in with your credentials or if you are a registered member of the Mobility Data Space already, you can use the "Login as MDS User" Button to continue. The option below the form allows you to switch the language of the tool.

3. Log in with MDS-ID

As a member of the Mobility Data Space, you can click the "Login as MDS User" button on the first page to get redirected to an alternative log in screen. On this you can log in with the credentials of your MDS ID.

4. Ticket List

After successfully logging in into the MDS Ticket-System you get an overview of all tickets.

5. New Ticket – General

This is the general overview of the ticket form, allowing you to create a new ticket for any issue you may encounter.

The whole ticket form is divided into several sections, which will be explained in further steps. Any entries marked with a red * are mandatory to fill in. The "Subject" text box is intended for a short description or an appropriate title, while the larger "Description" text box allows you to describe the problem in more detail.

With the "Einreichen" (Submit)-button you can open the ticket after you filled in the form. If necessary, you can reset the entire form with the "Formular zurücksetzen" (Reset Form)-button.

6. New Ticket – Priority

This optional setting allows you to set a priority for the issue you want to report. Available options range from Trivial, Minor and Major to Critical and Emergency.

7. New Ticket – Category

The mandatory Category form requires you to select one of the displayed categories your ticket's topic applies to. Available options are MDS Portal, EDC (Connector), Connector as a Service, Support System, Broker and DAPS.

8. New Ticket – Environment

Mds Support New Ticket Environment

This obligatory form requires you to select an environment for your ticket. Those are to determine which department is able to fix your issue. Available options are Production, Test, Development and Integration.

After you have filled in any mandatory type forms, you may open your ticket with the "Einreichen" (Submit)-button at the bottom-left corner.
