Global Search

Search can be done in two ways in OCL. Content can be searched throughout the system (global search) or via a specific resource repository (repository search).

To conduct a global search:

  • On the top left corner of any OCL page, locate the search bar that looks like this:

Global Search

  • Enter your search term or query into the search bar
  1. If you want results that match the exact phrase you typed, check off the Exact match checkbox
  2. Click the Search Icon icon to view your results
  3. You should see a blue box in the top left corner displaying the number of results obtained for each resource (concept, source, collection, mapping, organization, and user).

  • Click the resource which has at least 1 search result to view the details.

  • To order your search results by different criteria, click the icon next to the Download icon icon. There is the option to order by a number of criteria (as shown below)
