Repository search involves searching within a specific resource directory (such as a concept, source, or collection) for a specific instance. An example would be searching for:
- The contraceptive acceptance rate in the HSTP-Indicators sources repository
- Version 1.1.2 of the Disease Classifications source for a particular organization in the system
Repository search allows you to do this and further filter your results to meet your specific search needs.
To conduct a repository search, you should be logged into your account
- Click on the target resource link (could be a source, concept, mapping, or collection)
- If the resource is searchable, you should see a page similar to the image below: (The resource in the image below is a source)
- Enter your search term or phrase directly into the search bar
- You may want to specify the particular version of the resource by clicking the Collection Version drop down box to the left of the search bar
- If you want results that match the exact phrase you typed, check off the Exact match checkbox
- Click the icon to view your results.
- Your results should be displayed as shown below:
- You may want to refine your search results by applying a filter. For a list of the available filters, click the Sort by button.
