Installation
The mod is supported on Oracle Java 7 and 8. If you use another brand of JRE your experience may vary.
Thermal Recycling is built using Forge 10.13.4.1448. It is the recommended Forge build at the time of this writing. Some players have used later versions of Forge with success, but your experience may vary.
Thermal Recycling requires Thermal Expansion 4.x to be apart of the modpack. Thermal Expansion 4.x has it's own dependency requirements. They are noted toward the bottom of the linked page.
Installation of ThermalRecycling is pretty straight forward:
-
Backup any existing world saves. You should do this regardless of any mod update.
-
Download the mod from CurseForge page and drop it into the
./minecraft/mods
folder. -
Run Minecraft at least once to force the config file to generate.
-
Edit the
recycling.cfg
file based on needs.
During startup a log file is created in the ./minecraft
directory. This log file contains a list of recipes that the mod decided on as well as information related to the weight tables it uses for handling scrapping and Scrap Box usage.
