List literals lack type checking

The following program throws a type-check exception for l[1] = 2 (as expected). However, the list literal on the line above it doesn't throw any. VM and checked mode.

  var l = <String>["a", 2, () => 42];
  l[1] = 2;
}

Specifically, what needs to be done is dartc is to put run-time type checks into the array/map initializers. The checks on assignment (l[1] = 2) are working.
