What would you like to be added:
hostport source assumes all IP got from NodeExternalIP are IPv4 and thus produces error.
The source should be able to distinguish IPv4 and IPv6.
Why is this needed:
Our deployment using hostport cannot use external dns at all. No record is posted, not even A record.
