E4L HOA Transform

The E4L HOA Transform is an Ambisonics-domain spatial audio effect which alters the shape and order of an Ambisonics sound field.

The Yaw, Pitch and Roll controls use a transformation matrix to rotate the content of the sound field about the vertical, lateral, and longitudinal axes. The Order controls weight the relative levels of the higher order ambisonics. The Transform Display offers a visual representation of the complexity and behavior of the transformation matrix. If the higher-order levels are all turned down to 0, the display will render as solid gray, indicating that all spatial information is being discarded (as only the W amplitude channel is being passed).
