Send and receive crypto assets

Receiving and sending coins with the hardware wallet is very similar to doing it with a software wallet created with the desktop wallet. So if you are familiar with the desktop wallet the process will be familiar to you.

Receive coins:

To receive coins, click on the hardware wallet in the wallets list. Doing so, you will be able to see part of the address of the hardware wallet:

To see the full address, click on the address fragment. After doing that, a modal window will show the full address and ask you to check if the hardware wallet screen shows exactly the same address. Please, carefully check if the addresses shown by the desktop wallet and the hardware wallet are exactly the same and confirm the operation on the hardware wallet.

Warning: If the 2 addresses are not the same CANCEL THE OPERATION, STOP USING BOTH WALLETS AND CONTACT SUPPORT, you could lose your current and future funds if that happens and you continue using the wallets.

After confirming the address on the hardware wallet, you can send it to anyone. When someone sends coins to that address, tose coins will appear in your balance and you will be able to use them with the hardware wallet.

Note: Unlike software wallets, at this time the hardware wallets have only one address.

Send coins:

To send a transaction, with the hardware wallet connected, you have to go to the “Send” tab (1), select the hardware wallet on the dropdown (2), enter the destination address (3), enter the coin amount (4) and send the transaction (5):

You can use the “Preview” button to see the details of the transaction before sending it, or the “Send” button to send it directly. No matter which button you use, before sending the transaction the hardware wallet will show the details of the transaction and ask for confirmation:

Please check carefully if the data showed by the hardware wallet are the same as the ones you entered in the form before confirming the transaction.

Warning: If the data shown by the hardware wallet does not math what you entered in the form, CANCEL THE OPERATION, STOP USING BOTH WALLETS AND CONTACT SUPPORT, you could lose your current and future funds if that happens and you continue using the wallets.

Advanced options for sending coins:

You can use the advanced form of the desktop wallet for sending coins from your hardware wallet. It offers more options, but it is also more complex to use. Please use it only if you are familiar with how to send transactions.
