Wiping a Skywallet

This process allows you to delete all the data on your device, making it work like a new one. This means that if you have any coins on it, you will need to restore de device with the seed to be able to access them again. However, this process does not erase the firmware updates that had been applied to the device.

To do this, press the “Wipe the device” button on the hardware wallet options window:

After doing that, you will have to confirm the operation both in the desktop wallet and the hardware wallet. While doing this, you can select if you want to remove the wallet from the wallets list of the desktop wallet (the default option is to remove it).
